Ray Jongs graduated from the University of Sydney in 1998. Ray has had a passion for hand therapy since graduating and has been the Clinical Lead Hand Physiotherapist at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, which is part of the world renowned Hand and Peripheral Nerve Unit, for more than 20 years.
He has also completed a masters in Hand Therapy. Research and teaching in Hand Therapy is Ray’s passion. He regularly presents at meetings and conferences as well as mentoring junior hand therapists though his hand therapy fellowship program at Royal North Shore Hospital.

Michele became passionate about hand therapy during her university studies at the University of Sydney. Upon graduating she was taught by Ray Jongs at Royal North Shore Hospital, the largest hand physiotherapy unit in Sydney.
She has since gained further experience in both the public and private setting in Sydney as a Practitioner in Hand Therapy including North Shore Hand Therapy, Macquarie Hand Unit & St George Hospital.
She is the current Deputy Education Officer for the Australian Hand Therapy Association.

Christina graduated from the University of Sydney in 2005. As a Physiotherapist and violinist, Christina has always had a strong interest in Hand Therapy. Following 5 years as Senior Orthopaedic Physiotherapist at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, she then began her training in Hand Therapy.
Over the last 8 years, Christina has worked in two of the largest combined Hand Surgery and Hand Therapy Units in NSW – Sydney Hospital & Royal North Shore Hospital, where she now remains a Senior Hand Therapist at Royal North Shore Hospital Hand & Peripheral Nerve Unit.
She is currently working towards becoming an Accredited Hand Therapist as awarded by the AHTA and a Certified Hand Therapist. Christina is the current interest group co-ordinator for the Australian Hand Therapy Association for New South Wales.
