Hand Therapy Associates provides hand, wrist and upper limb therapy for new and recent injuries, as well as ongoing conditions and post-operative rehabilitation.
Patients can contact us directly for hand therapy assessment and do not require a referral to make an appointment.
Our clinicians assess and manage a range of hand, wrist and upper limb presentations, including finger injuries, wrist injuries, soft tissue injuries, tendon-related conditions, fractures, sprains, swelling, stiffness and pain.
Treatment may include assessment, splinting, casting, swelling management, education, exercises and rehabilitation planning, depending on the injury, stage of healing and individual needs.
Direct access hand therapy
Hand Therapy Associates can be a first point of contact for many hand, wrist and upper limb injuries. During your appointment, your clinician will assess your injury, discuss your symptoms and provide therapy management where appropriate.
Where medical review, imaging or specialist input is required, we may recommend that you contact your GP, an urgent care clinic, a surgeon or an emergency department, depending on the nature and severity of the injury.
