Hand Therapy Associates are able to offer services to self-managed and plan managed NDIS clients.

While we are not registered NDIS providers, we provide hand and upper limb services that are eligible for funding through the NDIS in most circumstances.

These supports include: 

• Hand Physiotherapy
• Custom Splints and Orthosis
• Equipment

Bring as much information as you have regarding your condition/surgery to assist us creating a thorough history of your injury.

• X-rays, Ultrasound or MRI reports
• Referral letters
• Operation reports
• Discharge summaries

Yes we will often fabricate customised splints or orthosis at your appointment as required. 

These are made generally out of a thermoplastic material however, we also fabricate dynamic splints, waterproof and plaster casts and neoprene splints.

Costs of splints vary from type, size and material used.

All our staff are Accredited Hand Therapists (as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association).  Therefore, depending on your level of cover you may be eligible to claim a portion of your splint.
