QUALITY HAND THERAPY EDUCATION
Our hand physiotherapy staff at Hand Therapy Associates are passionate about educating and teaching hand anatomy and therapy. Ray Jongs, Michele Chim & Christina Mills present regularly on various aspects of hand physiotherapy for the Australian Hand Therapy Association, Australian Physiotherapy Association, Balmain Sports Medicine & BJC Health.
We are working with the team at Total Patient Care to further hand therapists knowledge and ability to fabricate spring wire orthosis. The Capener Workshop will be health at Royal North Shore Hospital. Ray Jongs and Michele Chim will be teaching this on Saturday the 1st June 2024.
We hope to include a more advanced spring wire orthosis workshops to included a flexion splint and capner for multipe joints. For further information please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Royal North Shore Hand Physiotherapy department also runs a yearly fellowship for those interested in a career in Hand Therapy. This fellowship equips hand therapists with an evidence based foundation to managing hand trauma with all past fellows now working in senior roles in Hand Therapy.
